Migrate To WordPress is operated by Morning Studio (ABN 74 799 584 681), based in New South Wales, Australia ("we", "us"). We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Quote and call requests. Your name, email address, the URL of your current website and, if you ask for a call, your phone number. You give us these through the forms on this site or by emailing us.
- Project information. If you become a client, the material we need to do the work: site content, admin and hosting access, and billing details.
- Usage data. Pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and referring source, collected through cookies and similar technologies (see below).
How we use it
- To audit your site, prepare a quote and reply to you.
- To deliver, support and invoice the work you engage us for.
- To understand how the site performs and to measure and improve our advertising.
- To meet legal and tax obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
This site uses Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 to measure traffic and form submissions. We also advertise through Google Ads, which may use cookies and similar identifiers to measure conversions and to show our ads to people who have visited this site. Third-party vendors, including Google, show our ads on sites across the internet.
You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings, opt out of Google Analytics with the browser add-on, or block cookies in your browser settings. The site still works without them.
Who we share it with
We use service providers to run our business, and they handle information on our behalf. These include website hosting (Laravel Cloud), project and lead management (Asana), email, and analytics and advertising (Google). Some of these providers store or process data outside Australia, mainly in the United States. We take reasonable steps to make sure they handle your information appropriately. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
Security and retention
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. We keep quote enquiries for as long as they are useful and client records for as long as the law requires, then delete or de-identify them.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing hello@migratetowordpress.com. We will respond within a reasonable time, usually 30 days. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, contact us first. You can also complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
