These terms apply to this website and to the website migration services we provide through it. Migrate To WordPress is operated by Morning Studio (ABN 74 799 584 681) ("we", "us"). By using the site or engaging us, you agree to them.
Our services
We migrate websites from other platforms to WordPress. The scope, price and timeline for each project are set out in a written quote. A project starts when you accept the quote in writing, including by email. Anything outside the agreed scope needs a new or revised quote before we start it.
Quotes and payment
- Quotes are fixed-price for the agreed scope and are valid for 30 days unless the quote says otherwise.
- Payment terms, including any deposit and due dates, are set out in the quote. Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST where applicable.
- We may pause work on an overdue invoice until it is paid.
What we need from you
You agree to give us timely access to your current site, hosting and domain, and the content and approvals we need. You confirm you own, or are licensed to use, the content you give us. Delays on your side may move the timeline.
Ownership
On payment in full, you own the delivered website, its content and the custom code written for it. Third-party themes, plugins and fonts stay under their own licences. We keep ownership of our general tools, methods and know-how, and may mention that we worked with you unless you ask us not to.
Third-party platforms and results
Your current platform, host and any plugins or services we use are run by other companies, and we are not responsible for their changes, outages or fees. We aim to keep your search visibility and page performance, but we cannot guarantee particular rankings, traffic, speed scores or sales outcomes.
Warranty and support
We will fix defects in the work we delivered, at no charge, if you report them within the support period stated in your quote. This does not cover issues caused by later changes by you or others, or by third-party software updates.
Liability
Our services come with guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded. Subject to those guarantees and to the extent the law allows, our total liability under a project is limited to the fees you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profit or data. You should keep your own backups.
Use of this website
You agree not to misuse the site, try to break or overload it, or use it to send spam or unlawful material. We aim to keep the site accurate and available but provide it as is.

How we handle personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms, and the version on this page applies to new engagements from the date shown. These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and both parties submit to the courts of that state.
